Holotype male in MNHN.
Type locality: Sumidero de Chemal no. 1 (15º24’59” N 091º20’49” W), 3180 m, San Juan Ixcoy, Cuchumatanes Mountains, Huehuetenango Department, Guatemala.
Distribution: Guatemala: Huehuetenango Department: known only from type locality. Biology: A troglobite with reduced pigmentation, reduced eyes, and elongate appendages.
