Holotype male in QCAZ.

Type locality: “cueva sin nombre”, 00º23’ S 79º36’ W, 886 m, “La Y”, Laguna de Cube, 40 km off Quinindé, Esmeraldas Province, Ecuador.

Distribution: Ecuador: Esmeraldas Province: known only from type locality.
