. Distribution: Mexico: Jalisco State: known only from “type locality”.
Note: This species was misidentified as S. meliponae Girard [1874] in Portevin, 1903b: 336, 1907: 81 ( Mexico: Jalisco State) ( Portevin, 1937: 35).
