Generitype of Loeselia Linnaeus.

Current name: Loeselia ciliata L. View in CoL ( Polemoniaceae ).

Note: Turner (in Phytologia 77: 321. 1994) wrongly indicated Houstoun material in L, unseen by Linnaeus, as the holotype.
