Unknown number of Syntypes, and: Turkey, 1 from Eskisehir (selected as lectotype, NMW) and 1 from Pergamon ( NMW) (examined) .

Syn.: Montana bifoveolata KarabagÏ, 1950 syn. n. (type, Turkey, Manisa, EsËme ( BMNH)) .

Remarks. In original description Werner (1901) did not mention any type specimens. Also, the specimens in NMW which was collected by Werner himself and by Brunner von Wattenwyl (label: Eskichehir, August 1900, 1 Werner leg. and Pergamon, 1 Br. Wt. leg.) are without any type label. We selected the male from EskisËehir as Lectotype. The females from Pergamon (IÇzmir) lack two distinct foveolaes on hind margin of subgenital plate, and this population may represent an undescribed species. Because of insu cient material, we do not describe it as a new species.

Distribution. Endemic for west and south-western part of Turkey.
