Idioscopus shillongenssis Viraktamath 1976: 238–240 , figs 23–31.

Diagnosis. This species closely resembles I. confuscous , but differs in having two subapical cells in the forewing, aedeagal shaft processes about 0.75 as long as shaft and one pair much shorter than the other, and pygofer without a ventral process.

Description. Female. Sternite VII broad at basal 0.33 then abruptly narrowed and dome-shped posteriory, about 1.6× as wide at base as long medially ( Fig. 61L View FIGURES 61 ). Valvula I broad basally, narrowed distally, with sculptured area short, less than 0.25 width of valvula and occupying about half posterior length, strigae oblique ( Figs 67 View FIGURES 67 IJ). Valvula II broad basally, straight, narrowed distally, toothed area distinctly convex, with teeth distinct and slightly separated from each other, toothed area occupying distal 0.4 length ( Figs 67 View FIGURES 67 KL).

Material examined. INDIA: Meghalaya: 7 ♂, 12♀ paratypes, Shillong , 1961 m, 17.iv. 1974, K.D. Ghorpade ( UASB). Other material. INDIA: Meghalaya: 1♂, Shillong 1811m, 10.vi.2013, Vinayaka, T. ( UASB).
