Current name: Hibiscus trionum L. ( Malvaceae ).

Note: Although Fawcett & Rendle (Fl. Jamaica 5: 140. 1926) indicated material in LINN as type, they did not distinguish between sheets 875.39 and 875.40, neither of which carries the relevant Species Plantarum number (i.e. “20”). Both appear to be post-1753 additions to the collection, and neither is original material for the name.
