CURRENT STATUS: Incorrect subsequent spelling of Dictya Meigen, 1803 .

REMARKS: This misspelling was corrected in the errata in Wiedemann (1828: 604).

CURRENT STATUS: Unavailable name; originally proposed in synonymy with Phthiria Meigen, 1803 and not made available before 1961; treated under Tmemophlebia Evenhuis, 1986 [ teste Evenhuis & Greathead (1999: 34) ].

FAMILY: BOMBYLIIDAE .

REMARKS: Evenhuis (1991) listed a type species and placed it as a new synonym of Tmemophlebia Evenhuis, 1986 , but this was unnecessary as unavailable names do not enter into nomenclature and cannot have type species or true nomenclatural synonymies.
