Notes
Reported from Greece by Simboura (1996) and Zenetos et al. (1997) (based on the same specimens), identification confirmed by G. San Martín (pers. comm. in Simboura 1996). In the Mediterranean also reported from Spain ( Parapar et al. 1993b) and Egypt ( Abd-Elnaby 2010), otherwise distributed along the Atlantic coasts of Europe.
