Comments. The database “TITAN” established by Tavakilian & Chevillotte (2014) shows the holotype of Saperda tristis was deposited in ZMUC, however, the specimen was not found in the museum.

Specimens examined. Type: gender unknown (zmuc00037166), Tranquebaria, Mus: D. Lund. Saperda lineate F. (handwriting on a yellow rectangular label with black border in black ink)/ zmuc00037166 (printed on a white rectangular label in black ink, “zmuc00037166” means the unique museum catalogue number for specimen)/ TYPE (printed on a red rectangular label in black ink).

Distribution. India (Tamil Nadu, Sikkim); Nepal; Burma; Thailand; China (Hainan, Yunnan); Laos (Vientiane); Vietnam ( Annam, Tonkin); Malaysia (Perak); Singapore; Philippines (Luzon, Mindanao).
