Habitat.
At sea depth of 6–10 m ( Bratcher and Cernohorsky 1987; Robba et al. 2004).
Distribution.
Indo-West Pacific, from Thailand to Indonesia ( Bratcher and Cernohorsky 1987; Robba et al. 2004). Records of fossils from the Holocene in Thailand ( Robba et al. 2004).
Record in Thailand.
Gulf of Thailand ( Wells et al. 2021).
Taxonomic remarks and comparisons.
This species is recognised based on the descriptions and figures in Bratcher and Cernohorsky (1987) and Aubry et al. (2021), specifically in having a turreted and slightly cyrtoconoid shell with the sculpture completely cancellate throughout and with numerous and unevenly spaced axial cords crossed by ~ 6 spiral cords forming small bead-like nodes at intersections.
