Discussion. The species was described on the basis of the holotype male and one paratype female ( Hippa et al. 2004) from Sumatra and has not been recorded since. In the original description ( Hippa et al. 2004, fig. 11c) the drawing of the aedeagus complex (as tegmen and parameres) may be misleading because only the posterior parts were drawn; the whole structure is rather strongly tilted and the more anterior parts partially obscured on the slide. Anteriorly there seems to be oblique apodemes resembling those in P. b i f a l x ( Fig. 2 View FIGURE 2 E), P. paxillosa ( Fig. 6 View FIGURE 6 D) and P. peninsulae ( Hippa et al. 2004, fig. 9 d). P. s u m a t r a n a is very similar to P. awanensis . It is distinguished by the characters mentioned in the key.
