10. Typhlopone punctata HNS . B.M.
Worker. Length 2-3 1/2 lines. - Chestnut-red, smooth and shining: the head and thorax punctured, the head most finely so, the abdomen delicately punctured. Head oblong, emarginate behind, the sides nearly parallel, slightly narrowed behind; the mandibles pitchy chestnut. Thorax convex above, the metathorax not channeled. Abdomen: the node of the petiole subquadrate, the first and second segments slightly constricted; the apex of the terminal segment abruptly truncated, with a minute spine on each side and one in the centre of the inferior margin.
