European Turkey: This study. New record for the fauna of Turkish Thrace.

Comments: This Ponto-Mediterranean species is widely distributed in Anatolia. It has been found for the first time from Asia Minor ( Turkey) by Horváth (1905, 1906) as Monanthia putoni Montandon, 1895 from Kayseri and as Monanthia nassata Puton, 1874 without locality. In this study, it was found for the first time in Turkish Thrace.
