Specimens examined. New Guinea (paratype, NHMW); New Guinea, Chimbu Prov. (50, Hulcr det., MSUC). Comments. P. a r i e s does not display all features of Planiculus , but its generic position is confirmed by both morphological ( Fig. 9 ) and molecular analyses ( Cognato et al., 2011).
