Lectotype (Mennema in Leiden Bot. Ser. 11: 77. 1989): Herb. Linn. No. 733.6 ( LINN) .

Current name: Lamium maculatum L. View in CoL ( Lamiaceae ).

Note: Although Mennema wrongly treated this as a new combination based on L. album var. maculatum L. (1753) , a binomial that was not published there, his typification nevertheless stands.
