A tritonymph of a Brachytydeus sp. was also found on citrus at Augrabies, Kakamas, Northern Cape Province together with Pronematus ubiquitus , Triophtydeus immanis , Kakamasia cataracta , and Tydeus grabouaei . It is closely related to the tritonymph of B. monticola but differs in that the striae are more prominent and smooth and the small, reticulated areas on the dorsum are absent.
