Remarks. The genus has so far been recorded from the Paleocene of Denmark and the lower middle Eocene of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. Rogueus sp. (sensu Ludvigsen & Beard 1998: 125; Trent River Formation, Upper Cretaceous, Vancouver Island, Canada), has subsequently been described as a new genus and species, Bicornisranina bocki , by Nyborg & Fam (2008: 689, figs. 3, 4t, 5, 6). Bicornisranina should be placed in the subfamily Raninoidinae Lőrenthey in Lőrenthey & Beurlen, 1929 (see below), while Rogueus is retained in Lyreididae .
