MATERIAL EXAMINED. — Boulouparis County (Bouraké), 12.X.2007, on Acanthocereus tetragonus, H. Jourdan coll., Rosa C. Henderson det. ( NZAC); Chesterfield Islands (Île Longue), 6.XI.2012, on tubercule of Boerhavia diffusa, H. Jourdan coll. & E. Bourguet, Rosa C. Henderson det. ( CXMNC).
PUBLISHED RECORDS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Brun & Chazeau (1986); Williams & Watson (1990).
DISTRIBUTION IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Grande Terre (Boulouparis County) and Chesterfield Islands.
HOST- PLANTS IN NEW CALEDONIA. — Brun & Chazeau (1986) recorded it from Citrus spp., Plumeria acuminata and Psidium spp., also, it was recently found in 2007 on Acanthocereus tetragonus (in Bouraké, Boulouparis County) and Psidium guajava .
OTHER RECORDS. — West Indies, Australasia, North and Central America, Pacific Ocean, Middle East, Micronesia, Central Pacific.
NOTE. — A rare species in New Caledonia.
