Type material. Holotype. 1ɗ: " MOROCCO: High Atlas, 59 km SE Marrakech, N Taddert, (near Tazouguerte), N31°28’19” W07°24’22”, 1500 m, 28.12.2002, Quercus ilex , Quercus suber , leg. Stüben -19 - ", coll. CURCULIO-Institut, D- Mönchengladbach.

Paratypes. 58ɗ, 25Ψ: data as for holotype, coll. Stüben, coll. CURCULIO-Institute, Mönchengladbach (1 Ψ); 2ɗ: " MOROCCO: High Atlas, E Marrakech, N Taddert, (near Tazouguerte), 1498 m, N31°28'18" W 07°24'21", Quercus ( suber ), 3.5.2009, leg. Stüben -13-", coll. Discussion and differential diagnosis. The new species Kyklioacalles atlasicus from the High Atlas of Morocco must be compared with the related species from the Anti-Atlas, Kyklioacalles maroccensis ( Stüben, 2001) . The latter was described as an Acalles species at first ( Stüben 2001: 182–184); but this was revealed later as a mistake ( Stüben 2003a: 142f.). This species belongs to the Genus Kyklioacalles , because the basal part of the endophallus consists of a cyclic—even if weakly developed—structure ( Fig. 29 View FIGURES 25 – 29 ). The closely related new species has a more highly developed, complete and strongly cyclical structure of the endophallus ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 25 – 29 ).
