Current status.
Senior objective synonym of Serica planifrons Nomura, 1972, see Ahrens and Bezděk (2016). Nomura (1972) proposed Serica planifrons as a replacement name for Serica opacifrons (Nomura, 1971), a junior secondary homonym of Serica opacifrons Fairmaire, 1891.
