Material examined. 1♂, Al-Gafara (Bahariya Oasis), 28°18'04"N, 28°56'12"E, swept on Medicago sativa L. , vi.2104 (leg. Usama Abu El-Ghiet).
Previous records from Egypt. Fayoum (29°18'30"N, 30°50'34"E) ( El-Khawas et al. 2000; El-Heneidy et al. 2001).
Distribution. Palaearctic.
Host records. In Egypt, it has been reported as a parasitoid of the olive fruit fly, Bacterocera oleae Gmelin ( Diptera : Tephritidae ) ( El-Khawas et al. 2000; El-Heneidy et al. 2001).
