Host plant. Adults have been collected on Eryngium sp. ( Apiaceae ) which is a likely host.
Comments. The species from Israel resembles E. babugani (Loginova) , E. deserta Loginova , E. dlabolai (Vondráček) and E. lautereri Loginova in the long slender paramere which bears a strongly sclerotised inner hook basally. It differs from these species in the apically very straight and slender paramere, the relatively long and angular basal processes and the distal portion of the aedeagus which has a comparatively larger basal portion. Due to insufficient material, the species is not formally described here.
