Published records in Israel. No collection details ( Bodenheimer 1937); CP ( Halperin et al 1982).

Host plant. Ficus sycomorus (Moraceae) .

Comments. Carmin (1951) described Pauropsylla bikii and P. nussex from Israel. Adults of these two species do not differ significantly from those of P. willcocksi , whereas the immatures do. Hollis (1984) suggested that they may respresent different species but further studies are necessary.
