Comments. New record for Israel.
Our interpretation of C. kiritshenkoi and C. lurida accords with identifications by David Hollis and reflects differences in the forewing pattern (see key, couplet 50). The C. sp. nr. osmanica of Halperin et al. (1982) corresponds with this definition of C. lurida . However, the paramere shape is variable and does not match Loginova’s (1974) concept of these species. Examination of fresh material containing large series collected at different times of the year is needed to determine whether, the dark and light forms, i.e. our C. kiritshenkoi and C. lurida , may represent different generations of the same species.
