Comments

The depository of the material is not identified and we were unable to obtain specimens of this species. This species was considered to be closely related to D. (B.) dodgei by Lopes (1975c), who distinguished it by several unique characteristics of the male terminalia. Lopes’ illustrations do not allow for verification of the shape of the pregonite and the number of posterior keels in the basiphallus. However, it is possible to notice the lack of spines in the distiphallus. It appears that species is also similar to D.(B.) bicolor .
