Miltochrista hönei Reich, 1937 , Deutsche entomologische Zeitschrift Iris, 51: 121 (Type locality: “West-Tien-Mu-shan «...» Ost-Tien-Mu-shan” [ West Tianmushan and East Tianmushan, Zhejiang, China].

Type material examined. Lectotype (hereby designated) ( Figs 7 , 25 ): female, “West Tien-mu-shan Prov. Chekiang 30.7.193 2. H.Höne ” / “Typus” / “hönei sp. nov. ” / “Slide AV1840 ♀ A. Volynkin ” ( ZFMK).

Additional material examined: 1 female, [ China, Zhejiang, Lin’an County, West Tianmushan ] West-Tien-MuShan (1600m), Pz. Chekiang, 30. VI .1932, H. Höne [leg.] / Sammlung Daniel / Abgebildet In Mitt. Mü. E. G. V . t. f., gen. prep. No.: MWM 37.121 (prepared by Volynkin) ( MWM / ZSM).

Remark. The species was described by two females from “West Tien-mu-shan” and “Ost Tien-mu-shan” which are syntypes. In order to stabilize the nomenclature we hereby designate the female from “West Tien-mu-shan” labeled as “Type” and deposited in ZFMK as lectotype. The second syntype female was not located in the ZFMK collection and is probably deposited in Reich’s private collection which is currently stored in the collection of Tel Aviv University ( Israel), or lost. The male of the species is unknown.

Distribution. Known only from Zhejiang Province, Eastern China ( Reich 1937; Daniel 1952).
