Material examined. Holotype: Adult ♀, CHINA: Guizhou Prov., / Guiyang City, Guiyang Forest Park , / 26°55′72″N, 106º75′90″E, / on Cunninghamia lanceolata ( Cupressaceae ), / 2 July 2021, / Xinyi Zheng, Lan Zhang & Boyan Li leg. Mounted singly on a slide ( BFUC).
Paratypes: CHINA: same data as holotype, Xinyi Zheng, Lan Zhang & Boyan Li leg., ♀ ( BFUC). Same data as holotype, but Lan Zhang leg. on 9.xii.2021, 8 third-instar female nymphs ( BFUC). Same data as holotype, but Zhixiang Tan & Shitao Meng leg. on 2.vii.2022, 4 ♀♀ ( BFUC), 4 second-instar nymphs ( BFUC) and part of fore wings of adult ♁ ( BFUC). Also 4 first-instar nymphs ( BFUC) same data as holotype but hatched in the laboratory on 23.vii.2022 .
Etymology. The species epithet is derived from the name of the host plant and is a noun in apposition.
