Mallinella pingzhoui Lin & Li , sp. nov. ( Figs 78–79 View Figure 78 View Figure 79 , 82B View Figure 82 , 84G–H View Figure 84 )
Etymology. The species is named after Mr. Pingzhou Zhu; noun (name) in genitive case.
Diagnosis. Males of the new species can be distinguished from all other cryptocera -group species except M. cryptocera Dankittipakul, Jocqué & Singtripop, 2012 and M. callicera Dankittipakul, Jocqué & Singtripop, 2012 by the filiform embolus. The new species can be distinguished from M. cryptocera and M. callicera by the sperm duct at the edge of the embolic base (vs. on the middle in M. cryptocera and M. callicera ). The female can be distinguished from all other cryptocera -group species by the straight anterior margin and strongly recurved posterior margin of the epigynal plate.
