Type species: Marusik yurii Lin & Li , sp. nov. from Vietnam .
Etymology. The genus is named after Yuri M. Marusik , one of the most active leading arachnologists. The gender is masculine.
Diagnosis. Males of the new genus can be distinguished from all other Haplodrassus- group genera by having six eyes, the embolus half enclosed by the conductor and the wide tegular apophysis.
Description. Small-sized. Body length 2.45–3.12. Carapace oval, chelicera well developed, with three promarginal and four retromarginal teeth, promargin covered with long setae. Opisthosoma oval, white, with yellow-brown setae, lacking pattern and dorsal scutum. Spinnerets short.
Male palp lacking patellar apophysis. Retrolateral tibial apophysis simple, almost as long as wide. Tegular apophysis lamellate, membranous. Conductor with a dorsal and ventral part, dorsal part smaller than ventral. Embolus curved, pointed at tip.
Distribution. Vietnam.
