COMMENTS: Chapman gave the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description. Under ‘‘Specimens Examined,’’ Chapman said he had eight males and three females, all from Carapas, but only a total of eight specimens were cataloged at AMNH. The seven paratypes, all collected in 1925 by
Tate and Clement, are: AMNH 188544 View Materials , female, 30 March ; AMNH 188545 View Materials , male, 30 March ; AMNH 188546 View Materials , adult male, 30 March ; AMNH 188547 View Materials , adult male, 31 March ; AMNH 188548 View Materials , female, 1 April ; AMNH 188549 View Materials , immature male, 12 April ; AMNH 188550 View Materials , adult male, no day or month.
