COMMENTS: Chapman cited the AMNH number of the holotype in the original description and listed 45 adults as his type series, many of which were noted as having been borrowed from other institutions. I did not find either in the collection or the catalog the two specimens from El Cumbra and Pongo, Bolivia, indicated as being in AMNH.
