Camponotus staryi Pisarski HNS , 1971
Material: 23 ?, Zagros Mountains forest steppe, Dena Protected area (30°54'N, 51°25'E), 2683 m asl, 6.VII.2007, leg. Omid Paknia.
Remarks: C. staryi HNS was described from Iraq (Pisarski 1971). This is the first record of this species outside its type locality.
