Vernacular Names: Black Crested Mangabey.
Synonyms: Lophocebus coelognathus Matschie 1914 ; Lophocebus congicus Sclater 1900 ; Lophocebus hamlyni Pocock 1906 ; Lophocebus rothschildi Lydekker 1900 .
Distribution: Dem. Rep. Congo, south of the Congo River, in rainforest.
Conservation: CITES – Appendix II; IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).
