Tuberolabium View in CoL was established in 1924 by Yamamoto, but the same author moved it two years later to Saccolabium (Yamamoto 1926) View in CoL . Garay (1972) then re-instated Tuberolabium View in CoL . The taxonomic history of Tuberolabium View in CoL has been confused, in particular with respect to the genus Trachoma . To distinguish those species with a column foot, Parapteroceras View in CoL has been proposed ( Averyanov & Huyen 1990, Wood 1990). However, the results of our molecular work show that Tuberolabium View in CoL and Trachoma are distinct (unless much wider generic boundaries are drawn), whereas Parapteroceras View in CoL should be subsumed in the former. In Tuberolabium View in CoL no formal recombinations are needed because all species that we believe belong to the genus already have names under Tuberolabium View in CoL . In order to clarify = boundaries between Trachoma and Tuberolabium View in CoL we here list all species we consider to belong in the latter.
