Etymology. The species name is derived from the Latin word sicilis (“sickle”), in reference to the “falciform” prolateral tibial apophysis characteristic of this species.
Types. Male holotype: Zhangjiajie natural Reserve, Hunan Province, China, N29.34719° E110.43433°, Alt. 938m, Coll. Yurong Qu, 22 Oct. 2007. Paratypes: 2 males, 4 females, same data as holotype.
Diagnosis. See diagnosis for T. malleatus .
Description.
Male (holotype): Total length 2.51. Carapace 1.25 long, 0.79 wide. Abdomen 1.46 long, 0.83 wide. Chelicera with five promarginal and five retromarginal teeth ( Fig. 4 View FIGURE 4 H). Length of legs: I 4.57 (1.30 + 1.50 + 1.18 + 0.59); II 4.28 (1.30 + 1.28 + 1.01 + 0.69); III 3.51 (1.09 +1.02 + 0.82 + 0.58); IV 4.16 (1.39 + 1.36 + 0.97 + 0.44).
Female (paratype): Total length 2.16. Carapace 0.95 long, 0.85 wide. Abdomen 1.52 long, 1.28 wide. Length of legs: I 4.62 (1.34 + 1.45 + 1.04 + 0.79); II 4.51 (1.37 + 1.32 + 1.06 + 0.76); III 3.61 (1.15 +1.10 + 0.77 + 0.59); IV 4.80 (1.53 + 1.55 + 1.05 + 0.67). Tm I: 0.27. Tm IV absent.

Variation.
Males (n = 3). Total length 2.39–2.63. Carapace 1.02–1.29 long, 0.69–0.88 wide. Abdomen 1.21–1.62 long, 0.79–0.93 wide.
Females (n = 4). Total length 2.12–2.32. Carapace 0.93–0.99 long, 0.83–0.91 wide. Abdomen 1.49–1.58 long, 1.26–1.33 wide.
