DISTRIBUTION: Forested areas of Bolivia, Paraguay and Brazil (except the semiarid NE); E Peru; Ecuador; Colombia; Venezuela; Guyana; French Guiana; Surinam; Panama.

STATUS: CITES - Appendix I; IUCN - Vulnerable.
