DISTRIBUTION: C Ethiopia.

STATUS: U.S. ESA and IUCN - Endangered.

SYNONYMS: sinus Gervais, 1855; walgie Heuglin, 1863.

COMMENTS: Sometimes placed in subgenus Simenia Gray, 1868 .
