DISTRIBUTION: China (Yunnan, Guangxi), Laos, Vietnam.

STATUS: IUCN - Insufficiently known; considered by IUCN to have high conservation priority status for viverrids ( Schreiber et al., 1989).

COMMENTS: Revised by Pocock (1933d).
