TYPE LOCALITY: ' Tile Palaouan" [ Philippine Islands, Palawan) .

DISTRIBUTION: Philippine Isis (Palawan and Calamian Isis).

SYNONYMS: schadenbergii Jentink, 1895.

COMMENTS: Referred to the genus Suillotaxus by Lawrence (1939). Suillotaxus was considered a subgenus of Mydaus by Long (1978, 1981).
