Record from more than 900 m a.s.l. altitudes: Turkey — Isparta, Lake Eğirdir , 910* m a.s.l. on sediments and stones ( Durucan 2020) .
Remarks: This species was found standing or slowly flowing waters, at bottom level ( Bartsch 2006b); also reported at branchial cavity of crayfish Astacus astacus and Orconectes limosus ( Viets 1927; Wiszniewski 1939; Zawal 1998).
