Record from more than 900 m a.s.l. altitudes: Madagaskar — Central Madagascar, Antananarivo, Anjazorobe, River Ranonisoanavola (larger stream east from main mountain chain) , 1200 m a.s.l. ( Bartsch 2018); South-eastern Madagascar, Fianarantsoa, Andrambovato , stream 3 km east from the village, upstream from the cascade , 900 m a.s.l. ( Bartsch 2018).
Remarks: This species reported from Madagaskar in 200 m to 1200 m a.s.l. regions ( Bartsch 2013, 2018).
