Distribution in South America: polyp—Pacific Ocean, Chile, at 53.78°S 70.97°W (Galea & Schories 2012a p. 40–41); Atlantic Ocean, Argentina, from 51°S to 53°S (Allman 1888; Genzano & Zamponi 1997). Habitat: polyp—at 40m depth, on Symplectoscyphus magellanicus and worm tubes (Galea & Schories 2012a p. 40–41).
