Mexico, Teapa in Tabasco (H. H. Smith). Unspecified number of Ƌ.

One Ƌ syntype with labels: “Teapa, Tabasco, Feb., H. H. S.” [printed on white card]; “Cyrtoxiph. smithii Ƌ Sss.” [handwritten on green paper]; “ Syntypus ” [printed on red paper]. Specimen set with wings folded; most of both antennae, both middle

legs and both hind legs are lost. There is at least one further syntype in the BMNH (Marshall, pers. comm.). Box A 24 .
