Remarks. This genus was divided into three species groups, the Yunnana Group, Albomaculata Group and Parcevenosa Group (they are recorded as species group I, II and III respectively in Orthoptera Species File online). (1) The Yunnana Group (species group I) is characterized by epiphallus with distinctly denticulate lower apical lobes and rather short and/or wide hind lateral lobes. And this group includes Z. acutangulata Xia, Liu & Yin, 1991 , Z. aequalis Ma & Zhang, 2012 , Z. chopardi Gorochov, 2002 , Z. cognata Gorochov, 1992 , Z. decussatus Ma & Zhang, 2012 , Z. geniculata ( Chopard, 1931) , Z. modesta Gorochov, 2002 , Z. pulchella Gorochov, 1988 , Z. scalpratus Ma & Zhang, 2012 , Z. transversa Ingrisch, 1997 , Z. yunnana ( Gorochov, 1985) . (2) Albomaculata Group (species group II) is characterized by the epiphallus with nondenticulate lower apical lobes and long narrow hind lateral lobes. This group includes Z. albomaculata ( Chopard, 1969) , Z. malayana Gorochov, 2002 and Z. taynguyena Gorochov, 1990 . (3) Parcevenosa Group (species group III) is characterized by the epiphallus with lower apical lobes nondenticulate or slightly denticulate and hind lateral lobes characteristically curved. This group includes Z. parcevenosa ( Chopard, 1931) and Z. reticulata Gorochov, 2002 .
