Description: Ocelli present, eyes with short hairs, spurs 2,4,4 or 0,4,4. Wing venation differing in sexes, regular in Ƥ, irregular in 3. Forewings each with discoidal cell open or closed, forks 1, 2, 3, 4 & 5 present, forks 2 and 5 sometimes sessile. Fork 4 in Ƥ with footstalk, in 3 sessile and joined to footstalk of fork 3. Posterior wings similar in both sexes, each with forks 1, 2, 3, and 5 or only 2, 3 and 5 present, all with footstalks. Pair of lateral filaments on abdominal segment V of 3. Short to moderate ventral process of 3 sternites 6 and 7 or 7 only; in Ƥ on sternites 5 and 6.
