Remarks: Common. This species is distributed from northern Vietnam to Korea, Taiwan and Pacific coast of southern Japan. Until recently this species was thought to be Platyrhina sinensis ( Bloch & Schneider, 1801) , but is now known to be a distinctly different species.
Conservation status: Data Deficient.
