Examined material.

FFR 2636, B-20 canal at Aralık, Aras drainage, 39.8936N, 44.5256E.

Distribution in the area.

The species native for the Caspian Sea basin ( Pinchuk et al. 2003). The species was recorded from B-20 canal. It is the first record for the Turkish Aras River.
