Type Locality: Australia, Western Australia, Wyndham.

Vernacular Names: Nabarlek.

Synonyms: Petrogale canescens (Thomas 1909) ; Petrogale monastria (Thomas 1926) .

Distribution: Australia: NE and NW Northern Territory, NE Western Australia.

Conservation: IUCN – Lower Risk (nt).

Discussion: P. brachyotis species-group. Formerly included in a separate genus Peradorcas , and this is retained by McKenna and Bell (1997), but see Kitchener and Samson (1978).
