Taxonomic note. SEM images here provided ( Fig. 8 View FIGURE 8 ) indicate that genital morphology of exemplars from Uruguay are very similar from those of southern Brazil according to Miller´s drawings (2007, figs 138D, F).

Distribution: Known from Uruguay (Lavalleja, Maldonado, Montevideo and Rocha Departments) ( Fig. 9A View FIGURE 9 ) and southern Brazil ( Miller 2007, Buckup et al. 2010, WSC 2024).
Natural history: Tutaibo velox specimens were collected manually, with G-Vac and beating-sheet. These species inhabit mainly hillside forests but they were also found to a lesser extent in natural grasslands; webs are built in shrubs. In southern Brazil, the species has been recorded in riparian forests ( Rodrigues et al. 2016).
